Natiruts is a Brazilian reggae band nominated for the Latin Grammy of Brasília.
When it is still called Nativus, the group sold 40,000 independent albums successfully "Presenta de um Beija Flor", until hired by EMI. A new edition of the album, Nativus, sold 450,000 copies. The second album, Povo Brasileiro, was produced by Liminha and, like Bob Marley's reggae, has songs with high political messages, such as "Proteja-se e lute" and "Povo Brasileiro". The third album also brings a special participation of Rodolfo Abrantes, former lead singer of Raimundos, in the track "Homem do Povo".
