Grammy-winning electronic music producer Zedd is known for dynamic, electro-house tracks. He first broke through in 2010 with a remix of Skrillex's 'Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites.' His 2012 album debut, Clarity, reached the U.S. Top Ten and earned him a Grammy for Best Dance Recording. He has collaborated with stars including Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, and Ariana Grande.
Zedd grew up in Kaiserslautern, Germany, where he started out on piano at four years old. By the early 2000s, he was playing in the German deathcore outfit Dioramic. Zedd's first full-length, Clarity, was released in late 2012. It features the song 'Spectrum,' which shot to the top of the U.S. dance chart. His follow-ups, 'Stay the Night' and 'Break Free' won a Grammy for Best Dance Recording in 2014. In 2015, Zedd dropped his sophomore LP, True Colours featuring a slate of A-list guests such as Selena Gomez, Troye Sivan & Logic. He issued the single 'Stay,' featuring Canadian singer Alessia Cara on vocals in 2017 & later in 2019, he was seen teaming up with Katy Perry for the single '365.'
