Aimer

Aimer (エメ) is a Japanese pop singer and lyricist signed to SME Records and managed by FOURseam.Her name comes from the verb "Aimer" in French which means "to love".

Aimer made her debut in 2011 with the song "Rokutousei no Yoru" and recorded its highest ranking at number 9 on the Recochoku music distribution chart. In 2013, Aimer released a single "RE:I AM" which is a playword of her name. In 2016, Aimer released her 4th studio album "Daydream" which features collaboration with many famous singers. Most of her songs is used for ending or background song for several movies. One of them is her single "Black Bird" that released in 2018. The song was used as the theme song for Japanese live-action film from the manga "Kasane".
