Kacey Musgraves is best known for her 'Grammy Award'-winning album 'Golden Hour.' She started playing music when she was 8 years old & her parents funded her debut self-released album. In 2012, she was signed with 'Mercury Nashville' on a contract. In 2018, Musgraves released her fourth studio album, which received widespread critical acclaim and won her four 'G Grammy Awards' and two 'Country Music Association' awards. She also won an 'Academy of Country Music' award.
In 2007, she appeared on 'Nashville Star,' a talent-hunt reality show, where she first came to national prominence. She earned the 7th spot. After moving to Austin at the age of 18, she was discovered by Monte Robison in 2008. Kacey Musgraves was signed with 'Mercury Nashville Records' in 2012 & her debut album, 'Same Trailer Different Park,' was released in 2013 which won the 'Grammy Award' for the 'Best Country Album;' one single from the album was named by 'Rolling Stones' magazine as the 39th best country song of all time. In 2018, Kacey released her fourth studio album, 'Golden Hour' which debuted at the fourth spot on the 'Billboard 200' chart; becoming a critical and commercial success. It was nominated for four awards and won all four of them.
