Bio

Los Hermanos was a Brazilian alternative rock band formed in Rio de Janeiro in 1997. The sound of the group was strongly influenced by bands from the 90s Rio de Janeiro underground.

Life & Career

In 1999, the band signed with Abril Music label and released their first CD, the same name Los Hermanos, which reverberated among young audiences, identified with the lyrics Jovem Guarda style, mixed with a musical group influenced by rock, ska and samba. The success of the album was pulled by the song "Anna Júlia". In just one semester, "Anna Julia" was already in the top positions of the main radios of the country. In that year alone, "Los Hermanos" had sold 300,000 copies and placed two singles on the hit chart, such as Anna Julia and the second single "Primavera". The album also featured a 2000 Grammy nomination.
