Bio

Driven by the vivid, nimble voice of group member Nicholas Petricca, the spirited and eccentric indie rockers Walk the Moon emerged from Cincinnati, Ohio, with their first alternative hit, Anna Sun, in 2012. They have gone from famous to ubiquitous thanks to their international hit 'Shut Up and Dance.’ Taken from their 2014 platinum-selling release, Talking Is Hard.

Life & Career

Walk the Moon have released four albums since 2010. Their first, 'I Want! I Want!, was recorded at Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio. Their second album, Walk the Moon, was recorded in Atlanta, Georgia. Their third album, Talking Is Hard, reached the top five in the U.S., U.K., Canadian, and Australian Top Five. Walk the Moon’s fourth album, 'What If Nothing,' came out in 2017, with the single 'One Foot' featuring on Morgxn's 'Home.' The band released their fifth album in early 2019, with 'Timebomb' releasing in late 2019. The band has also played on the BBC Radio 1 show and CNN's Mavis Staples' Red Eye with Mandy Moore and Mandy Sheppard.
