Northern Ireland's Two Door Cinema Club first gained attention with 2010's Tourist History. The album hit number one on the Irish independent albums chart. They continued to evolve, experimenting with Giorgio Moroder-esque disco and synth pop on 2016's Gameshow.
Two Door Cinema Club recorded their debut album in London's Eastcote Studios in 2009. The group's remixes of Phoenix's ‘Lasso’ and Chew Lips' also appeared that year. Two Door Cinema Club's third album, Gameshow, arrived in summer 2016. The band embraced an '80s disco and synth pop-influenced sound. In support of the album, the band undertook a string of high-profile festival appearances. Their fourth album, False Alarm, was released in early 2019.
