Bio

Dutch EDM producer Fedde Le Grand is best known for reaching the UK top. Charts with 2006 single 'Put Your Hands Up for Detroit.' Le Grand has also been known for his production and remix work since his teenage years, adding his unique touch to tracks by artists such as Sharam, Freeform Five, Tall Paul, and Robbie Williams, to name a few. In addition to his music and touring projects performing in all corners of Europe and Oceana, North America, and China, Le Grand has also been active in the industry’s growth and business, establishing the Flamingo Records label in 2004 with Raf Jansen and Funkerman.

Life & Career

'Put Your Hands Up for Detroit' is an electro-house anthem by Detroit-area producers Matthew Dear and Disco D, which heavily sampled 'Hands Up for Detroit.’ Originally a minor hit, the song jumped to number one in the U.K. His label started the club night Flamingo Nights in Amsterdam in 2007. In 2009, he released his first album of original productions, Output. In 2011and, paired with DJ Markus Schulz for the double mix CD Be at Space, releasing the singles including 'So Much Love' and 'RAW.' In 2015, Le Grand started a new label called Darklight Recordings. 'Tales of Tomorrow,' a collaboration with Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, hit number two on the Belgian singles chart. The following year, Darklight released Le Grand's second artist album, Something Real.
