Cage the Elephant is one of the biggest rock bands of the 2010s. The Kentucky natives relocated to England just before the 2008 release of their eponymous debut. The ensuing media boost resulted in the transatlantic hit 'Ain't No Rest for the Wicked.' The group soon became a reliable fixture on American modern rock radio with two albums going gold and a Grammy Award for their 2015 album, the Dan Auerbach-produced Tell Me I'm Pretty.
Cage the Elephant's self-titled debut became a respectable commercial and critical success. In 2013, Cage collaborated with Alison Mosshart (the Kills, the Dead Weather) on the album 'Come a Little Closer.' The band's second live release, Unpeeled, arrived in the early summer of 2017. In 2019, the band returned with Social Cues, heavily influenced by Matt Shultz's divorce.
