Story of the Year is an American rock band.

Story of the Year is an American rock band formed in 2001 in St. Louis, Missouri. Originally, the band was formed with the name Big Blue Monkey. In 2002, the band changed the name to Story of the Year and released their first EP "Story of the Year" in 2002. They made their breakthrough with the singles "Until the Day I Die" and "Anthem of Our Dying Day" from the album "Page Avenue". In the following year, the band keeps releasing albums. Their recent album is "Wolves" which released in 2017. Sadly, in 2018, Phillip Sneed left the group after Adam Russell made a return to the group.
