Kelly de Almeida Key (born March 3, 1983), known for her stage name Kelly Key, is a Portuguese-Brazilian pop singer.

Life & Career

Her career began in 1999 when she signed with Rede Globo and made her debut as a presenter for the Samba, Pagode & Cia program. Two years later, in 2001, she was hired by Warner and released her first single, "Escondido". "Baba" that gained prominence in the radios. On August 16, she released her first album, the self-titled Kelly Key, selling 1 million copies and winning platinum in Brazil and Portugal, having also removed the songs "Anjo" and "Cachorrinho". In 2003 he released the album Do Meu Jeito, with which he sold 300,000 copies and extracted the singles "Adoleta" and "Chic, Chic". In 2004, she signed a contract with Band to present an auditorium program inspired by MTV Brazil, but was eventually relocated to Band Kids, which caused her to break the contract in a few months. In 2005 she released the third studio album, again an eponymous album and the version of the song "Barbie Girl" as singles and selling about 100 thousand copies, in 2006 amended her fourth work, "Porque Não? ". In 2007 he leaves Warner and signs with Som Livre, releasing his first official compilation, 100%, where he took two of his greatest hits, "Você é o Cara" and "Super Poderosa", selling 100,000 copies. In 2008, it hits stores sixth studio album, Kelly Key, which would be the last before announcing a seven-year hiatus of the song. In 2015 he returns to music and releases his sixth studio album, No Controle, by Deckdisc. Since then, Kelly has dedicated to his program on YouTube, where he interviews personalities from the fitness universe.
