Bio

Gerald Earl Gillum, known by his stage name G-Eazy, had his first break with the mixtape 'The Endless Summer.' His hedonistic rhymes complement his bad boy, rebel image. He's always dreamed big and aspired to hit the heights reached by legends such as Elvis Presley or Tupac. His face is reminiscent of the American Gangster era, with black leather suits and James Dean haircut.

Life & Career

G-Eazy began rapping when he was 15. He and his friends at the age of 15 put together a band named 'The Bay Boyz.' He soon started making his own mixtapes, selling them for 5 bucks each. The single 'Runaround Sue,' was sampled from Dion DiMucci 's original 1961 No.1 album. The song received more than 4 million views on YouTube. G-Eazy's album, 'These Things Happen,' his first album released by a major record label, debuted on US 'Billboard 200' at No.3 and won the top spot on the list of 'Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Albums.' In about a year the album sold 250,000 copies in the United States and received RIAA Gold certification. For the first time in 2014 he performed on national tv on 'Late Night With Seth Meyers' where he played live the song 'I Mean It.' His third studio album, 'When It's Dark Out,' received favorable reviews on the 'Billboard 200' and placed No.1 on 'Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Albums' list. The song featuring his hit single 'Me, Myself & I, has been awarded an RIAA Platinum certification with more than one million sales.
