Chris Lake

Chris Lake is one of the UK's most prolific producers and remixers. He felt an urge to refocus his sound and career while on a tour. 'It was like going back to the old me to find the new me,' he says. From progressive house and tech-house to vocal-driven EDM, Chris Lake has built up a massive discography of original productions and remixes. He's also responsible for the Rising Music label, which has released dozens of tracks since 2005.

Lake first made an impact in 2002, when his bootleg remixes of songs by the Prodigy and the Eurythmics grabbed the attention of in-the-know progressive house DJs. His first big hit was ‘Changes’, which reached the Top Ten of Billboard's dance airplay chart and the Top 30 of the U.K. singles chart. In 2012, Lake signed with Ultra Records & produced several singles for the label over the next few years, including collaborations with Steve Aoki and Anna Lunoe. In 2017, Lake signed to Skrillex's OWSLA, debuting with the single 'I Want You.' It put an emphasis on forward thinking four to the floor records by young producers. The compilation went to #1 in the iTunes Dance Chart and was celebrated at a live-streamed release party.
