Openside

OpenSide is a band from Auckland, New Zealand, formed in 2012 by Jen Newton, PJ Shepherd, Harry Carter and George Powell.The original singer when Jen Newton left the band in 2014 and the band was joined by Possum Plows.The band now consist of Possum Plows doing the vocals, PJ Stepherd doing backup vocals and playing Guitar, Harry Carter playing the bass and George Powell on the drums.The band originally named Maybe Rave changed their named to OpenSide.The band changed their name, inspired by the sport Quidditch where one of the positions is Openside Chaser.The band released their Debut EP Album "Push Back" which reached 12 in the New Zealand Charts and 2nd in the New Zealand Music Charts.
