Kamal Raja was born in Amsterdam to a father from Pakistan and a mother from Mongolia. Since childhood, he knew what he wanted to be: famous! At the age of 12, Raja performed his very first audition as a dancer executing all kinds of stage performances. His will and ambition continued to grow, and he knew he could do more than just dance. Raja was discovered by an agency that gave him the face of musicals. He gained the confidence to sing by practising a lot of international musicals. Raja chose to produce demos without any musical background and recorded a few tracks.
Kamal Raja worked as an administrative worker, an office at the age of 19. He was one of the finest and adored by his boss. Raja was soon promoted and took on more and more work in time. However, music was always present in his life, he continued to practise every day after work. Significantly inspired by western music, he gradually shaped his way of making music until he was in a position to choose between a stable job or an uncertain future behind his passion. He's been following his dream: Dream as if you have forever, and live as if you have only today.
