Sam Fischer

Australian-born singer/songwriter who relocated to L.A. to pursue a solo career with his R&B-informed songs.

Sam Fischer was writing songs by age 12. He grew up training classically on saxophone and violin and eventually ended up studying at the Berklee College of Music in the early 2010s. After graduating, he moved to Los Angeles and began working in earnest on a solo music career while also taking part in L.A.'s a cappella scene and performing as a backup vocalist with the band HOLYCHILD. While working as much as possible in the music industry, Fischer readied his own songs and by 2016 had released his first single, the romantic, R&B-informed "Lean." He followed the next year with singles "Same Friends" and "Getting Older," as well as being featured on Opia's swaying single "Secrets." His debut EP, Not a Hobby, was slated for release in January of 2018.
