Bio

Rory Graham was born and raised in the small town of Uckfield in the south-east of England. He taught himself to sing while imitating Muddy Waters, before discovering hip-hop. At 19, he took part in the open-mike blues night, encouraged by his father. The big, tattoo-covered arms, nose ring, shaved head, enormous beard, and typical hoodie and jeans are of a stereotypical nu-metal band. But he blew the crowds away as soon as he opened his mouth with a rich, intense, soulful, bluesy voice. Since then, he has formed a band named Rag 'n' Bone Man.

Life & Career

Graham released his debut EP, Bluestown, in 2012, followed by several EPs over the next few years, with Wolves in 2014 and Disfigured in 2015. Graham's early releases were more acoustic, but he developed into a more electronic, hip-hop-styled sound. His growing profile brought him to the attention of Columbia Records, which signed him in 2016. Graham’s debut single, 'Human,' was a major hit in several European countries. His first full-length effort (also named Human) was released in early 2017. Graham was awarded two Brit Awards for the British Breakthrough Act and the Choice Award the same year.
