Josiah Alexander Sila known profesionally as Joey Alexander, is an Indonesian jazz pianist.
Life & Career
He got recognized because the artistic director of Jazz at Lincoln Center, Jazz trumpeter Wynton Marsalis's friend suggested to watch Joey performance compositions by Coltrane, Monk and Chick Corea. And after that Marsalis praised him and invite him to Gala in may 2014. It was his debut on United States. On 18 August 2018, Joey Alexander performed at the Opening Ceremony of 2018 Asian Games in Jakarta,Indonesia.
