Ankur Tewari

Ankur Tewari, 42, has been making music since 1998, and has been singer-songwriter with the Independent band Ankur & The Ghalat Family since 2009. From hospitality grad to Bollywood music man - He came to Mumbai determined to follow his heart and make waves in the Industry.

Ankur Tewari studied Hotel Management but decided to pursue what he loved instead. His journey to becoming a singer took him from Bhopal to Mumbai. But the story of Ankur Tewari took a turn for the worse when music labels never called back with a job. At his lowest point, Ankur decided that the city was too expensive and thought it was best to move to Delhi. While enjoying the food and slow pace of the city, he made up to launch his music with his own movie. After experiencing success, Ankur invested money to set up a fund for his band members. He also consulted a financial advisor to financially invest his money. Ankur Tewari is best known for songs such as Yaaron and Sabse Peeche Hum Khade, and the latest one Jeene Mein Aaye Maza from Gully Boy. His most recent piece of work includes a Netflix Original Soundtrack Film 'Yeh Ballet'.
