The Chainsmokers

The Chainsmokers are a production duo featuring Andrew Taggart and Alex Pall. They've had ten multi-platinum singles, starting in 2018, they released a single each month. Their first major hit was with their 2014 song #Selfie. In 2019, the duo unseated Calvin Harris as the highest paid DJ in the world.

The duo's debut EP included a number of singles which reached the top ten on the US Billboard Hot 100 charts. Their first single #Selfie was streamed to Republic Records. The duo then signed on with the label Disruptor Records in 2015. They have since released the song 'Kanye' and the single 'Let You Go.' The duo's first album, 'Memories…Do Not Open' went to number one in 2017. In 2019, The Chainsmokers released the song 'Who Do You Love', a collaboration with the band 5 Seconds of Summer. At the end of 2019 they announced that they were producing the TV drama series 'Demo' which focuses on a musician who moves to Los Angeles to write pop songs.
