Ricad Hutapea

Jazz tenor and soprano saxophonist who live in Jakarta, Indonesia.

He started to learn to singing at 8 years old at the music course and joined with a church’s choir at 12 years old. Started to learn saxophone at the second grade at SMK (16 years old) until become a student at Institut Kesenian Jakarta on 2009 with major classical saxophone. He is a session player for some famous Indonesian singer such as Afghan and was Matthew Sayersz. He has 2 EP(s) / extended play with DJ Andezzz. Nowadays, he joins with some groups. There are Monita Tahalea & The Nightingales, Indra Lesmana Quintet, Indra Lesmana Group, Tohpati & Friends, and Bams & the Connections.
