Bio

Australian Betty Who produces fantastic pop music that evokes divas like Whitney Houston, Robyn, and Katy Perry. Borrowing sounds and styles from the '80s onwards and putting her cheerful spin on them, the viral success that won early indie releases such as The Revolution EP in 2013 led to major label releases like The Valley in 2017. By the time Betty was in 2019, she had returned to becoming an independent artist with a wide variety of strengths.

Life & Career

Born Jessica Anne Newham, Betty Who’s debut EP, The Movement, included 'Somebody Loves You,' which topped Billboard's Dance Club Songs chart. Her second album, Take Me When You Go, peaked at number 68 on the Hot 100. The Valley is her first album since moving to L.A. and features songs such as 'All of You' and 'Human Touch' She has four singles to date, including 'I love you Always Forever,' which reached number one in 2016, and 'I'm So In Love' in 2017. She has released three albums since her debut, all of which have been self-titled and all with RCA Records. Who became an independent artist when she left RCA Records. Her third album, Betty, Pt. 1, arrived in 2019. The single 'Ignore Me' was used as the theme song for Netflix's Queer Eye.
